Fumihiko Maki occurs as Japanese designer natural around Tokyo on September 6, 1928. Fallowing researching at a University of Tokyo he moved to the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, & than to Harvard Graduate School of Design. He worked for Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill around New York and for Sert Jackson and Associates around Cambridge. Founder of Maki & Associates around 1965. Inside 1960 he returned to Japan to help establish a Metabolism Class action. He typically utilize metal & glass materials.

Around 1993 he received the prestigious Pritzker Prize at the Prague Castle.
